ARTAL Agrinutrients has launched a new range of products formulated to meet the needs of specific crops. This new range is initially composed by four products developed for specific crops and will be progressively expanded to other crops.

Super Set increases the average fruit set per shoot by 35% in citrus

Super Set the ARTAL Agrinutrients biostimulant for flowering and setting, manages to increase the fruit set by shoot after the physiological fall a 34.92% according to the results of a field trial performed to evaluate its effect on flowering and fruit setting in citrus, The field trial was carried out by Phytest Hispania last year in Coria del Río (Seville), in Navel Powell orange cultivation and clay loam-loam soil. Two applications of this biostimulant were done, one in pre-flowering and one in full bloom and the results showed that trees treated with Super Set got 35% more fruits per shoot than untreated trees. Super Set is a natural liquid inducer, hormones-free, which stimulates and strengthens flowering and fruit setting. It is composed of phosphorus, potassium, molybdenum, boron and an exclusive tri-monomeric combination. It is one of the latest products developed by the R+D+I Department of ARTAL Agrinutrients, which is committed to the development of competitive and high quality formulations, in accordance with the current demands of plant physiology, showing that the century-old company continues betting on developing products with high added value that contribute to the optimization of crops in terms of quality, production and profitability.

Sandra Fresquet has joined the R & D & I Department of ARTAL Agrinutrients with the mission of deepening the effects on plant physiology of the new formulations that the company develops to improve the production and quality of crops.

Nico Romero, new commercial delegate for the Levante area

ARTAL Agronutrientes has added Nico Romero as its new sales representative in the Levante area to reinforce its presence in the Valencian Community and Murcia, strategic territories in the national market. Agricultural Technical Engineer from the University of Murcia, Romero has extensive experience in both dealing with customers (advice and sales) and in the drafting of engineering projects. After working in other companies in the sector for more than twenty years, ARTAL Agronutrientes has valued their experience and knowledge of the sector when assigning one of the most important agricultural areas in Spain. In this way, the company further expands its workforce to face expansion, both in Spain and abroad, in accordance with its strategy of entering new international markets while consolidating its position in Spain.

Trip to Thailand

ARTAL Agronutrients traveled to Thailand in September to meet with its distributor, Thep Group, and plan the next campaign.
