Artal Smart Agriculture has added two new professionals to its team to consolidate the company’s growth and strengthen its international expansion.

Since the end of August, Walter Medina is the new Export Area Manager Asia. With a great passion for the plant world, he considers himself a “serious professional and very committed to sustainability in agriculture.” His extensive international experience will serve him well in his new position as head of exports in Asia. “I have been fortunate to work and learn from multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, helping me to achieve a global vision of agricultural production, from soil studies to the use of botanical extracts, through to the advanced use of microorganisms and auxiliary fauna in various fields. For years, I have had the opportunity to integrate and apply this knowledge towards an agriculture more aligned with nature, demonstrating that sustainability is not incompatible with high productivity. Placing special emphasis on the importance of education on sustainable production techniques, which are key to the successful adoption of new technologies aligned with the agriculture of the future.”

Medina joined Artal Smart Agriculture “very excited about the new challenge that awaits me in such a prestigious company, where I hope to continue to contribute my grain of sand for a safe, sustainable and highly productive agriculture.”

On the other hand, Javier Aguilar is the new head of Administration. Graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Valencia, he has more than 30 years of professional experience, which have been developed mainly as head of financial-accounting departments, managing from SMEs and UTEs, to large companies. His career covers various sectors, such as real estate development, import and wholesale marketing or electronic commerce. He defines himself as “methodical, disciplined, responsible, committed to the project and, above all, excited to be able to add value to a company with almost 130 years of history.”

Walter Medina and Javier Aguilar join a team prepared and committed to a century-old company willing to contribute to the transformation of agriculture and production systems, thanks to its biotechnological products.
