Artal Smart Agriculture has just taken a key step in self-consumption of energy with the installation of photovoltaic panels in its facilities, which will provide power to the factory for more than 25 years.

The new solar panels are installed over several roofs in order to distribute the electrical production of the photovoltaic installation during the day. In this way, it adapts to the consumption profile of the factory and manages to maximize the self-consumed percentage and reduce surpluses, energy costs and CO2 emissions.

The installation allows future power expansions that cover the consumption of more electrical equipment, as well as the integration of accumulation in batteries. With this commitment to renewable energy, Artal Smart Agriculture shows that it is committed not only to sustainable agriculture, but also to the sustainability of the planet.
