Artal Smart Agriculture has just incorporated Josu Iturbe into its team as the new Export Area Manager for Europe, a key region in the internationalization process of the biotech company.<\/p>\n\n

With a Master’s degree in Tropical and International Agriculture from the University of Goettingen (Germany), Iturbe has been developing the market for biostimulants and specialties at an international level for more than twelve years, always promoting the creation of added value and the consolidation of products in tropical crops and horticultural products in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East, in charge of the Export Departments.<\/p>\n\n

With this incorporation, the biotechnological company consolidates its commitment to a region whose agriculture faces an unprecedented challenge with the European Green Pact: to produce in a sustainable way with less use of fertilizers and pesticides. In this context, the Artal high value-added solutions can contribute to increasing crop yields in a natural way, without leaving residues and without impacting the ecosystem or beneficial insects.<\/p>\n\n

Artal Smart Agriculture has been exporting its products to other European countries for 25 years. Portugal and Greece were the first destinations and continue to be very important markets. In the last decade, it has managed to introduce its solutions in Italy and France, and more recently it has started to export to Romania, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
