Our founder, Francisco R. Artal Tormo, set up the first warehouse on Calle de los Toneleros in Valencia, and subsequently his organic fertilizer factory on the outskirts of the city. Following in his footsteps, his son Francisco Artal Villanueva expanded and modernised the factory, also producing compound and organomineral fertilizers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In 1970, the founder’s grandson, Francisco R. Artal Such, began manufacturing liquid fertilizers, making Artal the first liquid fertilizer manufacturer in Spain.<\/p>

In 1986, he built the current facilities at the Fuente del Jarro Industrial Estate in Paterna (Valencia), where the fourth generation of the Artal family \u2014 Francisco and Juan Artal Huerta \u2014 continues the work begun by their great-grandfather, innovating and evolving to meet the current needs of the sector and driving the international expansion of Artal products that began in the 1990s, positioning ARTAL Smart Agriculture as a leading biotechnology company in the agri-sector.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
