The company was established at the end of the XIX century,
in 1895, y Francisco R. Artal Del Tormo who set up
his first warehouse in "El Grao" in Valencia
and subsequently his factory in Camino de Moncada,
on the outskirts of Valencia, dealing with the
manufacturing of Organic Fertilizers.
Lately, his son, Francisco Artal Villanueva,
extended and remodelled the factory by adding Compound
Fertilizers and Organominerals to the range
of products manufactured.

In 1986, the original founder's grandson and current owner and Managing Director of the Company,
Francisco R. Artal Such, built the new plant, in "Fuente del Jarro", a large industrial estate in Paterna (Valencia, Spain), where it is still situated,
which manufactures Liquid Fertilizers and
agricultural products.

Actually, the great-son of the founder,
Juan A.Artal Huerta, agricultural engineer, has
already entered in the company, so the fourth generation
assuers the continuity of this centenarean company.

The company was basically started as, and still is,
a family business with no shared capital and with
its own technology developed as a result of
100 years' experience in the fertilizing market.
